We discovered the agency online. TGTG was selected as the vendor based on their submitted proposal and follow-up call with the business and delivery heads cum owners. Their proposal promised goals, deliverables with timeline, premium service and results(numbers included) which was repeatedly assured and guaranteed by the business owners along with their expressions of interest for maintaining long term relationship with clients. This was the primary reason for selecting the vendor. Website project was allotted based on schedule shared for completion for 2 months.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Deliverables scheduled to have been effected during the initial period were far behind what was committed. We were constantly assured during our review meetings that things would pick up and the shortfalls would be made up. We waited, in good faith, for improvements to happen. Unfortunately the situation did not change.
Less than 50%of committed deliverable were closed. Website project was closed only after 10 months as against committed 8 weeks duration. Quality of deliverables were very poor. Website deliverables were shared without even basic testing.
To get the project closed, we finally had to deploy out internal team for testing. Significant amount of time had to be spend helping the vendor with repetitive discussions and multiple mails on same topics, escalations , content rewriting etc for Cogniphi to recover some ROI atleast on the website.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Poor work ethics. Deliverables were routinely missed with zero updates. Escalations were met with no response or assurances for delivery which were not met Concerns about lack of delivery and overall non performing of tasks were met with negative attitude and abrupt stopping of work by delivery head on digital marketing Despite clear cut signed NDA the vendor is still using our comapny logo on their website
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The engagement with The Go- to- Guy was a tiresome, with poor outcomes and no ROI on digital marketing. Significant amount of time and effort had to be dedicated to educate , guide, correct and hold repetitive meetings for the team with the expectation that the vendor would reciprocate with results. Still the attitude was casual with poor deliverables and communication. The team lacks empathy (one startup to another)and respect for client's time , investment and goodwill.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Yes. As a business be transparent and respect client's privacy and NDA. Client's logo should be used for marketing only with approvals. Improve quality of deliverables. Deliverables shared are amatuerish and need to be checked. Improve requirements elicitation by following proper process and approach. Improve communication with updates on missing deadlines.
Avoid repetitive meetings and discussions on same topics with client with MOM and confirmations from client. Multiple times we ended up getting deliverables without incorporating the agreed points as part of discussions. Meetings seemed to be futile, because the points of discussions were not captured. Encourage feedbacks. Develop trust, empathy and respect for client's time and investment.

The vendor’s scope of work includes revamping our website and executing content marketing across relevant digital marketing platforms. The team develops market-ready collateral in collaboration with our internal team, plans and executes paid campaigns on LinkedIn, and performs marketing functions on Google and other social channels.

We were given a dedicated account manager who deals with data collection and shares concepts for feedback and approvals. We have also been in touch with their marketing, branding, and communications employees.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We’ve seen an improvement in the overall number of new visitors to our website and an increase in the time spent per page. In terms of SEO, our main services are visible on the top five pages of Google and Bing for major keyword searches. On our social channels, we’ve observed a 15–20% increase in the footfall and engagements on posts.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They plan and execute strategies smoothly. We haven’t faced many communication challenges with the vendor. They’ve submitted campaign ideas and executed them mostly within the expected timelines. The Go-To Guy! is open to receiving feedback, and they include our suggestions into campaigns ideas and execution strategies.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were most impressed with the vendor’s industry knowledge, which made the knowledge transfer very smooth and quick. While they’re a significantly new player in this game, the group is quite strong. They were always ready to pull in extra hours, even on weekends.

There is always room for improvement. They could work faster. Also, they shouldn’t be hesitant to voice concerns that could impact the end result.

I was introduced to The Go-To Guy by a friend who has worked with them earlier. We also reached out to a few other agencies before shortlisting and finalizing them based on their capabilities and strong work portfolio.

As mentioned earlier they have been our extended marketing team and delivering on all our brand marketing needs for our parent company Rite Water Solutions and our Beyond Corona products.
What was the team composition?
After the initial discussion with the Co-Founders of the company where we agreed on the scope and commercials, I was assigned an Account Manager for my project. He was my single point of contact for day to day communication and operational discussions.
We had a content writer, graphics design, visual designer, video specialist and a digital marketing specialist assigned to our account who used to work with the Account Manager.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had a dedicated Account Manager and regular weekly meeting as touch points to track the work progress. Also the Founders of the company Ajay & Dipankar were always available when needed for their strategic inputs and direction.
This helped in smooth execution of our projects and I am extremely satisfied with the output.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I found it very easy to work The Go-To Guy! from day one. They are truely good in execution as they rightly claim. They have a good process of collecting the requirement brief, planning it internally and delivering on time.
Their agility in terms of being flexible is what was most impressive as not everything can be planned to the last T. I highly recommend working with The Go-To Guy! as we also continue to do so.

GTG created the basic skeleton of the website, designed additional brand assets and created a website that was completely on par with our current Cheeky branding. There was a lot of custom work that was done to ensure that the website took customers on our unique B2B journey (as opposed to most e comm based websites) They also created extra marketing collaterals like social media templates, email signatures, business cards and letterheads.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Around 6-7 and I had a dedicated project manager who checked in weekly - this was really useful in ensuring that all communication was streamlined between us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I am really pleased with the result of the website. We launched 4 days ago so it's still early to comment on the traffic but I have received very positive feedback on the look/feel and ease of use of the website.
