A modern scheduling system that combines data from ERP, Manufacturing and Accounting systems in one calendar.

A mid-sized manufacturing company producing and distributing premium residential and commercial doors and windows for clients across North America.
Overview
Our client relied on multiple manual processes for planning and scheduling their workflows, specifically in Production Planning, Shipping Scheduling and Installation Scheduling. The manual process required hours (and days) of data-downloading from various systems, data-entry in multiple Excel sheets and Outlook calendars and data-reconciliation among multiple reports.
To streamline these processes, we created a scheduling solution which is easy-to-use for users facilitating a systematic data-recording approach. Furthermore, we integrated with multiple systems within the company for better reconciled and real-time reporting.
Manufacturing Planning Solution
This project is a good example of how manufacturers can improve their operations with ease and bring clarity to processes like data analytics and sales/engineering planning. With the new solution in place, EuroLine was able to give up the excel sheets, save 8 days a month of analyst's work, and improve the communication between the sales and estimators teams. Features created: quote creating, production and sales planning, advanced dashboards, shipping schedules, and shipping distribution.
Web Proposal System
We created a modern and elegant proposal presentation system for business clients. The system integrates with our client's core insurance broker management platform and allows for presentation of highly-customizable client proposals over the web.
The architecture of this service allows for extremely high volumn useage using a Golang-based API and the elegant client was design and developed using React.

A modern web-based advanced analytics system that facilitates campaign design, Test Store selection and campaign Return-On-Investment analysis.

A marketing campaigns focused on packaged goods distributed through retail channels in the United States.
Overview
Our client relied on manual workflows and disjoint spreadsheets to manage marketing campaigns on behalf of the brands they represented. The amount of sales data from retail channels was prohibitively large for manual analysis and the process was error-prone.
To modernize and standardized this repetitive process, we created a web-based solution which is easy-to-use for brand users to create, strategize and analyze their campaigns. Users can upload large sales data files into the system to get recommendations for Test and Control stores through Advanced Analytics algorithms. Furthermore, once campaigns conclude, the system conveniently offers a variety of analysis methodologies and reporting options to evaluate the ROI of campaigns.

For what projects/services did your company hire Integral Software Consulting, and what were your goals?
We brought in Integral to supplement our in-house development team for several projects, including the build-out of a new web application with a simple backend and a dynamic UI built from a number of different modules, each with their own configuration.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had worked with Integral before on previous projects, and they have always been a pleasure to work with. They take the time to understand what we need, and strike the right balance of asking questions to resolve uncertainty while being able to keep things moving forwards without being blocked.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a kick-off meeting where we went over the business goals and a high level technical architecture for the system, as well as our deployment environment and normal development process. Integral then produced a detailed technical plan and came back with a number of questions which we reviewed together before agreeing on a plan and timeline.
During the development process we met every two weeks to go over progress, answer questions and adjust plans as needed. Integral were very accommodating of the design changes we made based on new customer feedback part-way through the project, and were able to easily adjust and re-plan based on the changes.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
A delivery partner was our main point of contact leading the project, and we worked with two developers from their team.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We're very happy with both the backend and frontend applications that Integral built and they're running well.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had meetings every two weeks to review progress and answer questions on the project. We used ClickUp, which we already use internally to manage the high-level goals, along with Google Docs and Sheets to track questions and changes between meetings.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They really took the time to understand the business problem this was solving, and used that to inform their questions and any assumptions they made which really helped them keep things moving forwards without needing to go back and rework things. They did a great job building a user-friendly system we could take on and maintain, which was important for our business.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The automated tests for the software were a little on the light side - a more comprehensive test suite would help make it easier to change in future.
