Founded in 2001, Spool is a film and television production company with post-production audio facilities and a fully licensed Dolby 5.1 surround sound studio. We are one of the few Dolby accredited studios outside of London. We have been producing content for broadcast, theatrical and online release. Spool is the name behind a growing array of award-winning films, TV programmes and music videos.

Holding a launch event at the Nottingham Contemporary in the summer of 2017, we shared a number of our films and music videos, and announced a Kickstarter campaign for our short film Ariella. Our ambitious and dynamic creative team are fuelled by big ideas and the ability to bring projects to life.
